The Tetley Participation Programme
“We have worked with Anne-Marie at The Tetley on the development and delivery of a range of workshops and courses for children, families and adults, including individuals with learning disabilities. She has always been great at engaging with our audiences and developing interesting and accessible activities that respond to the themes of our exhibitions, as well as reflecting on her own practice as a socially-engaged artist” – Kenn Taylor, Curator of Participation, The Tetley
The Tetley is a new centre for contemporary art and learning in Leeds in a landmark heritage building. Centred around creativity, innovation and experimentation, The Tetley is a place that develops future artistic talent while retaining a key aim to engage the public with artistic activity and discourse.
Images taken from the ‘Image Explorers’ project, which worked with people with learning disabilities to explore the history of the building and the local area through photography and video from September – December 2014.
Work from my Painting In Time adult course is currently on display in the Learning Studio.
I am always arranging new drop-in family workshops and other projects with The Tetley, so check back regularly for updates.
